About the author (If I may be so bold)

I am Brad and this blog is about customer service in Israel. There is the old question about is the cup half full or half empty, I say "who the hell has been drinking my water?".

The name service not included originates from restaurant bills and cheques. Service not included is displayed on every bill or check received, and in Israel they really mean that service was not included. I believe cynicism is the highest form of wit and this blog is tongue in cheek attempt to educate, vent , rant and rave about all service aspects in this country. I have experienced what I phrase as the YB Principle. It is why be (YB) difficult when we can be absolutely impossible. So if this blog offends you, I will reply with two words and they are not "happy birthday". They do however, involve sex and travel.

There are a few assumptions to take into consideration when reading this blog:

  1. If it is written here, it must be true
  2. I NEVER exaggerate
  3. I have a comments section, however, I don't care if you disagree with my blog, or if one day you had the best meal ever at a place I have reviewed. This is my blog! You can write your own £$% blog. Other comments are greatly appreciated.

Due to the fact that one of the largest service industry is the food industry, this blog is mainly about food, written for the people by a people or person. As the old saying goes " If food is the band of life, oh play on play on".

I am currently in Tel Aviv , a city of sights, sounds, smells and international flavours. There is a melting pot (not really cheese fondue but not a hot pot either) of so much good food that to keep quiet about it would be a crime. So here goes at my attempt to educate you about the wonderful food in Israel.

My aim here is try out as many interesting eateries, restaurants and other cullinary delights this country has to offer and provide some form of critic on the following criteria

  1. Food
  2. Service (Not included)
  3. Value for money
  4. Review on the menu and style of the restaurant
  5. Recommendation.

I hope you will enjoy this blog as much as I am enjoying the research and writing it.
